MaroutPro – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to MaroutPro (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the MaroutPro application (“App”) or any of our related services, you (“you,” “user,” “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using MaroutPro.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the App.

1. Overview of the Service

MaroutPro helps users manage and track utility markouts, projects, and incidents by allowing them to:

  • Create and organize project information (active, pending, or archived)
  • Record markouts with ticket numbers, addresses, and map locations
  • Track markout statuses (pending, active, expiring, expired, archived)
  • Receive reminders and notifications related to markout dates
  • Upload photos and report incidents involving utility line hits or damages
  • Store and manage contact information associated with projects
  • Plan upcoming tasks using the “Look Ahead” feature

MaroutPro is designed as a tool to assist in recordkeeping and organization. It does not replace compliance requirements with any state’s markout laws, nor does it verify or validate user-entered data.

2. User Responsibilities

When using MaroutPro, you agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information you enter into the App.
  • You will use MaroutPro in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your login credentials and keeping your account secure.
  • You will not share your account or allow unauthorized users to access it.
  • You are responsible for backing up your data as needed for your records.

3. Account Security

We use up-to-date security measures to help safeguard your information. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use MaroutPro responsibly and take steps to protect your account, as we cannot accept liability for how the service is used.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use MaroutPro for any unlawful, unsafe, or fraudulent activity.
  • Upload or share false, misleading, or inappropriate content, including—but not limited to—offensive, obscene, defamatory, or copyrighted material.
  • Upload or attach photos that contain violence, nudity, confidential information, personal identifiers, or any other material not directly related to the reported incident or markout.
  • Attempt to damage, disable, or disrupt the App or its servers.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the App’s software.
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or organization.

We reserve the right to remove any inappropriate or noncompliant content without notice and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.

5. Data Accuracy and Limitations

MaroutPro provides tools to help you manage your projects and markouts. However:

  • We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy of data entered by users.
  • The App does not automatically update or renew markouts with state agencies.
  • Users are responsible for confirming all project and markout details independently.

6. Notifications

The App may send alerts or notifications (for example, when a markout is expiring). These notifications are provided as a convenience only. You remain responsible for monitoring and renewing your markouts as required by law.

7. Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • MaroutPro and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any errors, omissions, or losses resulting from incorrect data input, misuse, or technical issues.
  • We are not responsible for downtime, server errors, bugs, or software malfunctions.
  • We are not liable for damages, injuries, or losses that occur on or off the jobsite as a result of using the App.
  • We are not responsible for third-party actions, including hacking or unauthorized account access.

MaroutPro is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MaroutPro, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect or misleading entries
  • Unauthorized access to your account
  • Uploading or sharing inappropriate or unlawful content
  • Misuse of any app feature
  • Any incidents or claims arising from field work or project activity

9. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or that interferes with the operation of the App.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and content within MaroutPro are the property of MaroutPro or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.

11. Modifications to the App

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any part of its features at any time, with or without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Jersey, USA.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
